From research to launch, our design process is exciting & fun.

We know that any creative process can be daunting.
Will the designer ‘get me’? Will it be awkward giving feedback?

We know how you feel. That’s why our process is built around consultation, collaboration and small, organic steps.

And we’ve built hundreds of brands and websites for small creative businesses just like yours, so you also know that you’re going to get a visual brand suite that works across all channels and platforms.

Research & Discovery

You’ll start your design journey with a kick-off call with Melissa. She’ll look at your business strategy over the next few years, go through your existing brand components and give you carefully structured visual homework to complete before you begin working together.

Curation

After you’ve completed your homework, Melissa will help you curate your visual inspiration into a mood board that will serve as the base for your live design session.

Knowing that we’re on the same page ensures that we get the most out of our live design session.

Live Design Session

During a 2-3 hour design session, we’ll create your brand suite together, working on logo directions, any complementary design elements that are needed, a color palette and a font suite.

By the end of this session, you’ll have a final logo direction ready for refinement and a ‘style tile’ which shows all of your visual elements working together. At this stage, we encourage you to sleep on things or share the direction with a trusted friend before making any final decisions.

Fine Tuning & Launch

We complete the process with a final live revisions session. Once the brand is signed off, we’ll produce a brand guide and hand over your assets to you.

Starting to work with your brand elements is one of the most exciting parts of the process, and we’ll gift you some mockups and social media templates to help you launch your new brand in style.

Do you do branding only?

Yes, absolutely. We work with companies and individuals to create the assets they need for all channels – from websites and social media to packaging and print.

Who do you work with?

We work best with creative companies – photographers, copywriters, fashion labels and hospitality brands.

We prefer to create direct-to-consumer brands but we’re happy to work with anyone who wants a unique and creative visual suite.

Do you also build websites?

Yes, absolutely. We’re very experienced with website and ecommerce builds as well as course and membership sites. Get in touch and we can walk you through your options. We offer a discount if you are booking both.

I have a logo already but nothing else. Can I work with you?

We’re happy to refresh your existing logo and create a brand around it. Most people are missing a cohesive color palette, font suite & design elements to give that polished feel.

Do I receive the original source files?

Of course. We’ll give you the EPS and any related files, export versions of all of your logo marks and give you a brand guide for reference, so that you know how to use all of the elements we create for you.

How long does the process take?

The actual brand creation takes 2-3 days because our signature Live Design Session accelerates the revisions process, which can often drag on.

We agree the date of the Live Design Session at the time of booking and give you your visual homework after a strategy call.

We are guided by you when it comes to how long you feel you need to do your homework.

All told, most projects take 2 weeks from start to finish.
