Exploring The Marketing Fix

Marketing

Entrepreneurship is a lonely road sometimes. When I first started my business, I remember sitting at my desk on countless occasions, paralysed with indecision about making the next step, how to put it together, which tool to use.

What was really holding me back was fear of wasting time and losing money. I just didn’t know how to calculate the risk involved.

Since then, I’ve learned a few things and met some brilliant mentors who have helped me understand what I needed all along.

You need to be in an environment which normalises success.

If YOU are the only person you know who is trying to start or scale a business, you’re going to struggle with self-belief. Been there, got the t-shirt. I now know that being in a mastermind or a membership where others are achieving and then expanding their goals is really important to me. Once that becomes part of your new normal, it’s almost impossible for your mindset NOT to change.

You need to have others alongside you on the journey.

Over the last few years, I’ve developed a little gang of business ‘besties’. We message each other several times a day. They are my sounding board, my sanity check and my cheerleaders when something goes wrong and self-doubt creeps in.

It’s important to have people who are at the same point in their business journey, because you need somewhere to get brutally honest feedback and also be vulnerable. When you find these people, keep them close.

You need to take shortcuts from people further ahead of you.

Finding mentors and coaches who can leapfrog you over those periods of paralysing confusion is probably the most important thing of all. I can directly credit particular business successes to working with the right person at the right time.

Why make mistakes (though you will anyway) when there are experts out there who have already figured out the fastest route from A to B? Learn from them.

It’s not always comfortable though. When you find the right coach, expect to be challenged and held accountable.

This is why I founded The Marketing Fix.

I wanted to create the resource I wish I’d had 10 years ago.

I wanted somewhere to belong and someone to help me build a strong foundation with a step-by-step process.I wanted to be told exactly which tools to use to build a scalable marketing system. Most importantly, I wanted to be coached through strategy and decision-making by a real-life person.

And so I built it. I get a lot of questions about how The Marketing Fix works, so let’s explore it together.

Introducing The Roadmap

At the heart of the membership is the Roadmap. Lay your foundations in The Business Blueprint, then plan and build your funnel in easy, bite-size steps. No guessing what to do next. Simply follow the path. And that path is packed with templates, swipe-files and easy instructions to help you get your marketing machine up and running as quickly as possible.

Oh, you’ve spotted the badges? Sweet. If awards, levels and badges are your thing, we’ve got you. The final rank? Funnel master, of course.

The Live Coaching Sessions

When you join a membership, what you really really want is to be able to get your specific questions answered by an expert. What actually happens, in a lot of memberships is that you spend a lot of time, waiting patiently on a busy group call to get your question answered and then, Oh no!, you’re all out of time.

I wanted to shake things up and take the pressure OFF! That’s why we have 5 hours of Live Co-Working every single week, covering two time zones.

What’s Live Co-Working? I don’t mind telling you that it’s a bit weird. You show up to a Zoom call, we have a little chat about what we’re going to work on and then we mute our mics and get to work alongside each other.

The best part is that you can ask for help, jump into a side room with me or one of the team (who all have their own marketing superpowers) and get the advice you need there and then to get unstuck.

Unsurprisingly, the members I speak to every single week during Co-Working make the most progress. They set aside those 3 hours to smash their marketing knowing that they can ask as many questions as they like to make sure they are on target.

The Guest Experts

It can feel like marketing trends are moving at the speed of light. One minute it’s Reels, the next it’s Clubhouse (what happened to that anyway?) and now you need to be all over TikTok. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired.

I want an expert to tell me if something is worth doing in the first place. And if it is, how I can get the maximum value from in the shortest amount of time.

The thing about these experts are…they are busy and expensive. I can’t even afford to hire the people I want to learn from!

But here’s the hack and the real beauty of The Marketing Fix. Together, we CAN afford to crowdsource the best talent around to keep us in the loop.

That’s my job, by the way. Every month, I bring in the people I admire most to give us their expert strategies, in their specialist subject. They tell us what’s hot and what’s not and what’s actually working out there in the wild.

Just this year, we’ve covered Google Ads, PR, affiliate marketing, quiz funnels and audience growth.

We save you hours of Googling and falling down the YouTube guru rabbit hole. And bonus! All of our experts are present in the members-only Facebook group, so we can call on their expertise whenever we want.

So that’s a wrap!

The Marketing Fix is for courageous business owners who are ready to lay down solid foundations, create their own personal marketing blueprint and build a lead-generating system that keeps on working even when you aren’t.

It’s rooted in community, friendship, support and sharing the very best information from experts in their field.
